This easy-to-apply adhesive provides strong, resistant bonds that withstand aggressive products and aging. It complies with UNE-EN 14814 and UNE-UN 14680 standards. It is a welding adhesive for joining rigid PVC pipes and materials, particularly suitable for pressure systems. Clean and degrease the surfaces to be bonded. Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive to the sleeve and then a thicker layer to the beveled end of the pipe. Make the joint immediately without twisting. Remove any excess adhesive with a cloth. The bond should not be subjected to stress or movement for the first 10 minutes. Depending on the ambient temperature and ventilation of the joint, the adhesive will set approximately 4 hours after application. In installations that must withstand pressures exceeding 1.5 atm, wait at least 24 hours before putting them into service. The bond strength is estimated up to material failure, not joint failure. This product is FLAMMABLE. Therefore, good ventilation must be provided in the workplace, and all sources of sparks or fire must be avoided. For more information, consult the Safety Data Sheet.
How should the adhesive be applied?
Clean and degrease the surfaces to be glued. Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive to the sleeve and then a thicker layer to the previously beveled end of the tube. Make the joint immediately without twisting.
How long does it take for the adhesive to set?
Depending on the ambient temperature and the aeration of the joint, the adhesive sets approximately 4 hours after application.
How long do we have to wait before putting the facilities into service?
In installations that must withstand pressures above 1.5 atm, wait at least 24 hours before putting them into service.
Is the adhesive dangerous?
This product is FLAMMABLE. Therefore, good ventilation must be provided in the workplace and all possibilities of sparks or fire must be avoided.
