Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I wash this 60-micron filter?

The cleaning frequency depends directly on the quality of your water supply. It is recommended to perform a visual inspection every month and rinse it under a moderate-pressure stream of water whenever sediment buildup or a noticeable decrease in flow is observed.

Is this cartridge compatible with any 10-inch filter holder?

Yes, this model features industry-standard dimensions for 10-inch filter housings, so it fits seamlessly into the vast majority of water treatment installations and reverse osmosis equipment available.

What type of impurities is this washable filter capable of retaining?

This cartridge is optimized for the retention of physical particles and suspended solids of a size equal to or greater than 60 microns, such as grains of sand, oxide particles, sediment, dust and small accumulations of sludge present in pipes.

Can this filter be used to purify water intended for direct human consumption?

This filter primarily acts as a mechanical pre-filtration stage to retain coarse sediments. In reverse osmosis systems, it is placed in the initial stages to protect the main membrane, which is responsible for ensuring the chemical and microbiological potability of the drinking water.
