Genuine replacement lithium thionyl chloride battery for the Blue Connect smart water analyzer. The battery needs to be replaced approximately every two years under normal use. To ensure maximum battery life, it is recommended to put the Blue Connect in standby mode when your pool is in hibernation. Battery replacement steps: Under Settings » Blue Connect, tap Battery Change. Remove the analyzer from the water, remove the rubber ring and the storage cap, and place the Blue Connect in the storage cap. Dry it and start the procedure in a clean, dry place. Remove the adhesive tape and unscrew the top of the device. This is a left-hand thread. Unscrew clockwise. Remove the gasket and discard it. Disconnect the white connector by pulling the red and black wires. The battery is located at the other end of the cable. Press the plastic rod to release the battery and remove it by pulling the cable. Place the battery at the bottom of the cavity until it locks. Next, connect the connector. Place the new gasket supplied with the battery over the threads on the top of the unit. Close the top. This is a left-hand thread. Screw it counterclockwise. Apply the new adhesive tape supplied with the battery and replace the ring. Then, replace the usage cap and return your Blue Connect to the water.
