The battery needs to be replaced approximately every two years under normal use. To ensure maximum battery life, it is recommended to put the Blue Connect into standby mode when your pool is hibernating. Steps to replace the battery: In Settings » Blue Connect, tap Battery Change. Take the analyser out of the water, remove the rubber ring and the usage cap and place the Blue Connect into the storage cap. Dry it off and start the procedure in a dry and clean place. Remove the adhesive tape and unscrew the top of the device. This is a left-hand thread. Unscrew it clockwise. Remove the gasket and discard it. Disconnect the white connector by pulling on the red and black wire. The battery is located at the other end of the cable. Press the plastic rod to release the battery and remove it by pulling on the cable. Place the battery into the bottom of the cavity until it locks into place. Then connect the connector. Place the new gasket supplied with the battery into the thread on the top of the unit. Close the top. This is a left-hand thread. Screw it on counter-clockwise. Stick the new adhesive tape supplied with the battery on and put the ring back on. Then replace the operating cap and put your Blue Connect back into the water.
